Weekend Workshops

3/7 & 3/8: Marble Painting: Explore motion and force as we roll marbles through paint to create dynamic abstract art. Makers experiment with patterns & gravity to see how physics influences design & color mixing.

3/14 & 3/15: Watercolor Doodle Art: Discover how water and pigment interact as we blend colors, explore absorption, and experiment with line and pattern.

3/21 & 3/22: Rainbow Slime: Dive into chemistry as we mix ingredients to create stretchy, colorful slime while learning about polymers and states of matter. Always a favorite!

3/28 & 3/29: Tissue Paper Stained Glass:Investigate light and  color as we layer translucent tissue paper to create glowing “stained glass” designs. Students explore transparency, color mixing, and how light passes through different materials.

Special STEAM Experiences – March

🏀 Basketball Catapult Challenge: Design and build your own basket and catapult system, then engineer a way to launch your ball successfully into the hoop. Makers explore force, motion, angles, and energy transfer while testing, adjusting, and improving their design like real engineers.

🐥 Peep Candy Nest Challenge: Using limited materials, innovators construct a freestanding nest strong enough to hold a marshmallow Peep. This engineering challenge encourages problem-solving, structural design, balance, and stability while students experiment with shapes and support systems.

Tape Art & Creative Design: Use only your fingers to strategically tear colored tape to decorate the Clubhouse's windows with your Spring inspired creations.

Activities rotate throughout the month and are offered alongside open-ended making.

Groups with 5 or more children,

please email or call the Clubhouse 24 hours in  advance to ensure proper staff coverage.

Available EVERY DAY

Cardboard Construction: Design, build, and invent using cardboard, child-friendly tools, fasteners, and our Chompsaw. Makers can follow an idea or create something entirely their own.

Creative Making & Art: Explore a wide variety of art and craft materials to draw, design, paint, cut, build, and create freely. Building & Construction: Build structures and designs using a variety of building materials, including LEGO®, while exploring balance, stability, and problem-solving.

Marble Mazes & Engineering Challenges: Design pathways and test motion, gravity, and problem-solving as marbles twist and turn through custom-built mazes.

STEM Kits & Exploration: Hands-on kits and materials that invite curiosity, experimentation, and discovery across science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.

Makers choose what to explore and how long to spend at each station, with support and encouragement from our Clubhouse Crew.
