Original Thinking: We value curiosity, creativity, experimentation, thinking outside the box, and making mistakes. Developing our own ideas brings JOY to our lives & we learn a whole lot in the process!
Communication and Collaboration: We foster teamwork among children, families, educators, and the community to inspire collective creativity that benefits the entire community.
Research and Development: We believe in current research on recreation, education and families, and we let it guide our principles and practices. We all benefit from a balance of digitalized & hands-on, real-world experiences.
Environmental Responsibility: We strive to reduce our carbon footprint by prioritizing the use of upcycled equipment and furniture and using recyclables in place of “new” materials. Using recyclables to create is also a whole lot of fun!

Jeannine is a visionary leader with a deep passion for inspiring learning and growth in others. She created The Creative Clubhouse after 30 years in education as a classroom teacher, professor, international trainer and educational coach. In recent years she recognized a need for more hands-on learning experiences, in a time dominated by screen time. While technology is a terrific learning tool, nothing can replace the benefits gained from exploring physical objects, planning & developing our ideas, & collaborating with others face to face. She believes that we need to teach children HOW to think, not what to think!
