July is all about America’s birthday, summer sun,  and sand. This month, makers will explore summer fun through sand creations, colorful suncatchers, confetti poppers, and firework-inspired art. Kids can build, experiment, and create as we celebrate sunny days, hands-on play, and the holiday in true Creative Clubhouse style.

PLAN YOUR VISIT

  • Registration currently not required; walk-ins are welcome as space allows

  • Owned & operated by an experienced educator

  • Registration & payment is completed on site

  • Time in the space for up to 2 hours each visit

  • Children 8 and up can attend independently

  • Guidance from trained staff that have passed a current Criminal Background Check

  • $15 each child with parent

  • $20 each independent child ​

  • Each visit include 2 child Make & Takes

  • Additional Make & Takes $3-$6

SAND CTREATIONS
Explore, build, scoop, design, and create with sand-inspired materials all month long.

CONFETTI POPPERS
Design and build a festive popper for a burst of colorful fun.

FIREWORK PAINTING
Create bright, bold firework art using fun painting techniques.

SUNCATCHERS
Make a colorful sun catcher to brighten up a sunny summer day.

  

​CARDBOARD CONSTRUCTION (Available Everyday): Visit our Cardboard Construction area and design a birdhouse of your own using our building templates.  Experiment with shapes, structures, and creative details as you build a cozy home for your feathered friends.

What to expect EVERY visit

Cardboard Construction: Design, build, and invent using cardboard, child-friendly tools, fasteners, and Chompsaw®. Makers can follow an idea or create something entirely their own.

Creative Making & Art: Explore a wide variety of art and craft materials to draw, design, paint, cut, build, and create freely.

Building & Construction: Build structures and designs using a variety of building materials, including LEGO®, while exploring balance, stability, and problem-solving.

Engineering Challenges: Design pathways and test motion, gravity, and problem-solving as marbles twist and turn through custom-built mazes.

STEM Kits & Exploration: Hands-on kits and materials that invite curiosity, experimentation, and discovery across science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.

Makers choose what to explore and how long to spend at each station, with support and encouragement from our Clubhouse Crew.
