
June is buzzing with creativity at The Creative Clubhouse! This month, we'll explore the fascinating world of birds, bees, bugs, and nature through hands-on building, creating, and discovery. Kids can drop in and enjoy a variety of open-ended activities designed to spark imagination, encourage problem-solving, and inspire curiosity about the natural world.

Bug Creations
Design and build your own bugs using a variety of materials, including spoons, egg cartons, cardboard, pipe cleaners, and more. Will your bug crawl, fly, hop—or be a completely new species?
Bug Catchers & Observation Jars
Create your own bug catcher or observation jar and explore the tiny creatures that share our world. Learn about insects, observe their unique features, and become a nature detective!
Bird Feeders
Create a simple bird feeder and discover ways to attract feathered visitors to your backyard. Explore what birds need to survive and how we can help support local wildlife.
📦 CARDBOARD CONSTRUCTION (Available Everyday): Visit our Cardboard Construction area and design a birdhouse of your own using our building templates. Experiment with shapes, structures, and creative details as you build a cozy home for your feathered friends.
What to expect EVERY visit
Cardboard Construction: Design, build, and invent using cardboard, child-friendly tools, fasteners, and Chompsaw®. Makers can follow an idea or create something entirely their own.
Creative Making & Art: Explore a wide variety of art and craft materials to draw, design, paint, cut, build, and create freely.
Building & Construction: Build structures and designs using a variety of building materials, including LEGO®, while exploring balance, stability, and problem-solving.
Engineering Challenges: Design pathways and test motion, gravity, and problem-solving as marbles twist and turn through custom-built mazes.
STEM Kits & Exploration: Hands-on kits and materials that invite curiosity, experimentation, and discovery across science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.
Makers choose what to explore and how long to spend at each station, with support and encouragement from our Clubhouse Crew.
